The organisation: 4 Healthcare Recruitment are working with a leading school in Melbourne’s North. This education setting caters to school aged children, and has a focus on pupil wellbeing. This school prides itself on being a welcoming, safe and inclusive educational environment, where each student’s uniqueness is valued, respected and fostered. The opportunity: An opportunity exists for a psychologist to join their student services team, in a full or part time capacity in the the role of School Psychologist.
- Ongoing position (0.6-1.0FTE would be considered for the right applicant)
- Extended annual leave / School holidays
- Working with school aged children, on campus – assessment, intervention, working with school staff
- You will be responsible for working alongside a multidisciplinary team, alongside the leadership team within the school community
- Help to design and drive the future of student wellbeing within this school setting
You: Ideally you will have had experience working within a school setting as a psychologist – though this is preferred and not essential. You will have a growth mindset, and expertise in best psychological practises for adolescents. You will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification, and full AHPRA registration
- Experience working with young people in a mental health context
- Educational and development endorsement preferred but not essential
- 1+ years working in a psychology role
- Working with children’s check (or willingness to obtain)
