About the Company 4 Healthcare Recruitment is proud to be partnering with Dynamic Rehab Group, a Sydney-based OT-owned and operated practice working across the most complex end of community rehabilitation.
The team is led by an experienced Clinical Director and Principal Occupational Therapist who is an accredited NSW Motor Accident Scheme Permanent Impairment Assessor (Nervous System) and an iCare Approved Case Manager. The practice currently has five Occupational Therapists, an in-house Physiotherapist, a Rehabilitation Counsellor and an Allied Health Assistant, giving you a genuine multidisciplinary team to lean on without the bureaucracy of a large corporate provider.
The work sits across NDIS, CTP, Lifetime Care, Workers Care and private funding, with a strong specialism in complex medical coordination for clients living with conditions such as severe brain and spinal cord injuries, blindness and burns. Therapists here coordinate physiotherapists and other medical professionals as part of holistic case management. To be clear, this is not an occupational rehabilitation provider; the focus is clinical, not return-to-work.
About the Role This is a senior community-based OT role for someone who wants variety, autonomy and the chance to genuinely tailor their caseload. You will work across compensable and non-compensable schemes, and depending on your interests and experience the Clinical Director will shape your caseload around you. If you want to lean into neuro and complex injury, that is on the table. If you want exposure to AT, home modifications and care needs assessments, that is there too.
Day-to-day looks like:
- Delivering client-centred OT in home and community settings across Greater Sydney
- Conducting functional assessments, ADL assessments and care needs reports
- Assessing, prescribing and scripting assistive technology and home modifications
- Coordinating multidisciplinary input for complex medical cases, including liaison with physiotherapists, medical specialists, support coordinators, case managers and insurers
- Mentoring more junior clinicians and contributing to clinical excellence across the team
The role is fully WFH and mobile-based. There is no office to commute to. The organisations pays for your home office set up, covers travel and provides the tools of the trade so you can focus on the clinical work. You structure your own day, which means school pick-ups, appointments and life admin fit around your caseload rather than the other way around.
Clinician safety and wellbeing is taken seriously here. Therapists in the community are supported with third-party safety applications including real-time location tracking and access to emergency services where needed, so you can do mobile work with confidence. You will receive:
- Competitive base salary plus super, with achievable KPI-linked bonuses
- Generous professional development allowance and regular clinical supervision
- Clear pathway to leadership for clinicians who want it
- Additional leave to support mental health and wellbeing
- A small, values-driven team where you are known as a person, not a number
What We Are Looking For
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Full AHPRA registration
- Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience, ideally with exposure to NDIS, CTP, Lifetime Care or Workers Care schemes
- Experience in inpatient, community or private practice settings
- Strong clinical reasoning, report writing and communication skills
- A current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- A genuine commitment to ethical, client-centred practice
