The organisation supports adults in their homes and community environments, with a strong focus on practical, person-centred NDIS services that promote independence and participation. Their OT services include Functional Capacity Assessments, assistive technology, home modifications and support with daily living.
About the Role
An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to join the team on a contractor basis for approximately 2 to 3 days per week .
The caseload is predominantly adult NDIS and is 100% community-based . Referrals are spread across Sydney, with a particular preference for a clinician located around Parramatta, the Hills District or Upper North Shore to support efficient travel.
A significant part of the caseload involves one-off assessments , with approximately 35 to 40% of clients requiring ongoing therapy . Ideally, you will be comfortable completing both assessment-focused work and ongoing intervention.
Depending on the referral, your work may include Functional Capacity Assessments, assistive technology, home modifications, daily living assessments, equipment recommendations and capacity-building therapy.
The organisation currently operates with an established contractor team, including clinicians who have worked with the provider for several years. You will have autonomy over your workload while remaining connected to a broader allied health team.

What You’ll Need
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Relevant NDIS Worker Screening and Police Check requirements
- Australian working rights
- Strong written communication and report-writing skills
- Confidence working independently in community settings
- Experience with NDIS assessments, assistive technology, home modifications or adult disability will be highly regarded
