The organisation delivers Speech Pathology and other allied health services within clients’ homes and community settings. Its experienced clinical team values practical support, clear communication and collaborative care with clients, carers and service providers.
About the Role This is an adult-only Community Speech Pathologist position commencing as a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the intention of transitioning to permanent employment when the placement is successful. Full-time and part-time applicants are welcome, with flexibility around days and hours for the right person.
The caseload is approximately 75% aged care and Support at Home, with the remaining 25% consisting of NDIS clients. You will provide assessments and interventions for adult communication, swallowing and mealtime needs while working closely with clients, families, carers and other providers.
The role is community-based across Sydney’s Inner West and Western suburbs. You can leave directly from home for appointments and complete most report writing and administration from home. Travel between clients is kept to approximately 30 minutes where possible.
Typical working hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility to work between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm depending on your preferences and client needs. The organisation does not use a rigid KPI structure, with expected productivity based around approximately 5.5 billable hours per day.

What You’ll Need
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Current membership or eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Interest in working exclusively with adult clients across aged care and NDIS
- Ability to work independently while communicating and collaborating with the wider team
- A friendly, approachable and flexible working style
- New graduates and experienced Speech Pathologists are encouraged to apply
