Speech Pathologist | School Setting

Healthcare & Medicine, Speech Therapy

About the Company

4 Healthcare Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a specialist school focused on the education, development and wellbeing of students aged 5 to 18 years.

The school is well equipped with a purpose-built therapy space and a collaborative allied health team including Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy. Clinicians work closely with teaching staff and use a broad range of resources and equipment to support students’ learning, communication and functional goals.

You will be joining a supportive transdisciplinary environment where allied health and education staff work together around the needs of each student.

About the Role

An opportunity is available for a Speech Pathologist to join the school on either a full-time or part-time basis.

You will work with students presenting with a broad range of mild to severe disabilities, supporting communication, participation and learning within the classroom and dedicated therapy spaces.

This is a highly collaborative role with very little traditional one-to-one therapy. You will work alongside teachers and other allied health professionals to develop shared goals and embed therapy strategies into students’ everyday school routines.
