4 Healthcare Recruitment are excited to partner with a leading Catholic school in Melbourne’s west, for the recruitment of a Student Wellbeing Practitioner | Social Worker, Youth Worker or Counsellor

The opportunity: Following the establishment of a new wellbeing leadership structure, an exciting opportunity exists for a wellbeing practitioner to join this growing team. You will be a visible, trusted presence across the school, working directly with students, supporting teaching staff and building relationships with families. This is a hands on, varied role where no two days look the same. Working alongside the Student Wellbeing Lead, you will deliver short term counselling, contribute to whole-school wellbeing initiatives and help build the capacity of educators to support students in the classroom.

About you: You are a practitioner who genuinely loves working with young people and thrives in a school environment. You bring warmth, professionalism and a proactive approach to everything you do. Experience in a school setting is preferred but not essential. What matters most is your passion for adolescent wellbeing and your ability to hit the ground running. You will have:
- A qualification in Social Work or Counselling (other allied health disciplines may be considered)
- Experience working with young people in a mental health or wellbeing capacity
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence building relationships with students, staff and families
- A working with children check (or willingness to obtain)
- Full time availability preferred (0.8 considered)
